Commercially speaking, Facebook, Twitter and Yahoo Answers are even monitored by of consumer brands. Facebook is the new 'I' button which allows companies like Coca-Cola, Kit-Kat and Adidas to see what is popular among certain demographic. I woke up this morning to see Yahoo Answers have sealed a partnership with Purina, the free feed, and all I can think of me is that Purina use this service as a cheap market research. Our ISP can see everything we search on the Internet our work environment at each site visited, and if connected to a LAN can effectively take control of our computers. CCTV denies us any privacy, there are 150 CCTV cameras from where I saw my main shopping complex and it is impossible to leave your house without appearing. Do you we watched too closely? Do you think that we observed in our own safety?

If our country remains prosperous and the political climate remains relatively stable, then these powers will be used primarily to "benefit" us, and / or advertising for us, obviously. I believe that these technological advances can be used to control and confine us if things go wrong so …. as it been with the technology throughout history.
